Sparkzoo’s REPTISPA reptile lights provide the right light, and heat, to care for a variety of different reptiles; including UBV Terrarium, basking, infrared heat, and self-ballasted lamps.
REPTISPA CFL UVB Terrarium Lamps
The UVB Terrarium lamps come in 2 UVB levels, 5.0 for Forest dwelling reptiles and 10.0 for Desert dwelling reptiles.
The 5.0 UVB Terrarium lamps are ideal for all tropical and sub-tropical reptiles. They produce high UVB + UVA output and are effective up to 30cm (12 inches). The 5.0 UVB Terrarium lamp provides the necessary UVB rays for optimum calcium metabolism. The UVA radiation stimulates the reptile’s appetite, activity, and reproductive behavior.
The 10.0 UVB Terrarium lamps are ideal for all desert dwelling reptiles. They produce high UVB + UVA output and are effective up to 50cm (20 inches). The 10.0 UVB Terrarium lamp provides the necessary UVB rays for optimum calcium metabolism.
REPTISPA Basking Lamps
The basking spot lamp is specifically designed to create a focused beam of light to create a basking area for reptiles that thermo-regulate by basking. The basking lamp helps to increase the ambient temperature and create a more suitable habitat for the reptile.The UVA rays given off by the basking lamp stimulate the breeding behavior in reptiles.
The REPTISPA Basking Lamps are available in 25W, 50W, 60W, 75W, 100W and 150W.
REPTISPA Infrared Heat Lamps
The infrared heat lamp is an ideal radiant heat source in any terrarium day/night or 24 hours. The red glass transmits infrared waves and produces very little visible light and will not disturb the reptile’s normal activity day or night.
The REPTISPA Infrared Heat Lamps are available in 25W, 50W, 60W, 75W, 100W and 150W.
REPTISPA Self-Ballasted UV Sun Lamps
The sellf-ballasted UV Sun lamps provide radiation reptiles need from the sun. The UV Sun Lamps provide visible light, heat, plus UVA and UVB radiation. UVA provides the warmth which cold-blooded animals are used to in nature. UVB helps in the production of Vitamin D3 to maintain healthy skin and bones. Prevents metabolic bone disease in reptiles.
The REPTISPA Self-Ballasted UV Sun Lamps are available in 100W and 160W.
